The solution created a full end to end patient handling and diagnostic system integrating all the elements necessary to fulfil the highest standards of clinical and patient care demanded by the UK Department of Health and its own client operating within the public/private sector.
The system designed and developed by Burnbank integrated a bespoke PAS with the RIS & PACS unifying all the elements of the patient journey from referral to scanning and subsequent image & report transfer. The design and implementation incorporates all the legal obligations and conforms to all the demands of patient care. Alongside the ability to manage the transfer of images & associated reports back to referrers and enabling the client to meet clinical demands but realise its own business objectives too. The system and its application involved Burnbank in the design, development & testing of the software but also the provision and installation of all the hardware, network connectivity and providing ongoing support end to end of the solution. Burnbank has achieved such success through its network of leading IT supplier partnerships and its own in house capability to design, build and implement technology to meet exactly the specialist requirements of its customers.
